I loved Arnold as a kid!
So many cool things, created for this event and celebration only.
One of a kind, Spongebob Rolex.
Shelfs full of Nickelodeon animation stuff!
One of the super talented animators.
Now, doing a sketch of me.
Me as a cartoon.
Sugarfina Butiques made sure we all got candy. Almost like the Swedish kind!
The candy was paired with the characters.
My candy bag!
Slime photos from the photo booth.Yesterday evening we went to an event were they celebrated Nickelodeon and their 25 years of animation at RonRobinson in Santa Monica. It was so cool! Seeing all the animated shows I grew up with, meeting animators and all the designs that were uniquely made for this event. I had my eyes on the turquoise leather jacket, it did fit perfekt and looked so cool! Me and Daniel took a photo in the photo booth with slime pouring over us. I also got a personal animation sketch made by one of the animators. So much fun!
Yesterday evening we walked to Montana Avenue and took a look at all the art that the stores were exhibiting. It was the night of Montana Art Walk. We stopped by Hästens and said hi to some friends and also tried a new frozen yoghurt place down the street called Frozen Fruit. The treats are only made from fruit, no sugar or anything else in it. It was really good and so fresh. I topped my raspberry with some shredded coconut to add some sweetness. So yummie! Daniel had a pinapple-passionfruit with yoghurt covered raisins. That flavor was also really good! We sat down for a while and ate. Their chairs were so pretty! Then we walked up the street again, a quick second stop at Hästens and later headed home.
This Thursday evening we were inviting to an exclusive art exhibition by Karen Bystedt at the Ron Robinson store in Santa Monica. The artwork were mixed media with photographs of Andy Warhol by Karen Bystedt, that she lost 20 years ago and found pretty recent. She did some collabs with other artists and made these mixed media artworks. I had a colorful favorite that I forgot to take a photo of. Anyway, they are pretty cool and does not come in many copies, most of them were 1/3.
