This morning I made banana pancakes with brown rice flour and they tasted so good. We had them with some vanilla yoghurt and warm berries. So easy to make and pretty good for you, except that the yoghurt could have been better with some ingredients.

Yesterday we celebrated 4th of July with some friends and a poolparty in Brentwood. We had a BBQ, I had my own Whole Foods box with food, some good drinks and jello shots. We spend all day at the pool and an old childhood friend is here visiting with his friends and they joined our celebration. I hadn't seen him in five years so it was fun that they showed up. Later on the evening we headed to Rosti for some food with everyone. I had a delicious gluten free pasta with asparagus and hazelnuts. After the dinner we headed back to Brentwood and had some more drinks. When we got home we went to bed but after an hour of so I started to feel very sick and knew that I had some food that my body can't handle. I slept so bad and are so tired today because of that. Still feel a little sick but hope that it will pass during the day.

Started out with a morning walk in the neighborhood. My muscles are so sore from my workout yesterday, doing circuit training in the morning. I love this house with the plants. It's just so whimsical, cool and different. It's a house with apartments, a Spanish style that needs an upgrade or a wash. Anyway, the plants in the "garden" is so cool and adds so much to the personality of the house.

I just had some cereal for breakfast and read the news. Will be busy all day but that's fine since it's all gloomy. Hope you all are having a nice Friday and start of the weekend. For us, it's a busy weekend with party since it's 4th of July on Monday. We all will celebrate in one way or an other.

This is my new favorite chocolate snack, Bark Thins. They have many different flavors but I like this one and the coconut almond the most. They are great together with coffee or just on their own. They are also fair trade and GMO free. I always store mine in the fridge so they are cold and crips when I eat them. Really tasty and kind of healthy.

Had the alarm set on 7am, but the weather was just too boring so we slept for another hour before we headed out for our morning walk. It's super gloomy and grey but hopefully the sun will come out soon. I'm going to take a shower and then get ready for the day and all the things I need to do today.

I've been having some stomach ache again, probably because of some food I've eaten that my body doesn't like. When I get problems with my stomach and feel nauseous I like to drink kombucha. My favorite brand is Health-Ade, they are local and everything is brewed here in Los Angeles. I tried a new flavor Power Greens which I really like. It has some goodies in there like wheat grass, spirulina and camu camu. If you haven't tried kombucha I definitely recommend you to try it!
